The Pikes Peak Gold Bands (PPIOM)

The Pikes Peak Gold Band is made up of two community bands: the Gold Concert Band and the Swingmasters Jazz Band. Both bands are under the direction of our current director, Ray Bell, they are part of the New Horizons International Music Association.  Both bands rehearsing during the morning hours of Tuesdays and Thursdays using the facilities provided by Springs First Church.

We are located in Colorado Springs, CO with the unique purpose for musicians to become better (AGAIN), provide a low-pressure environment that extends or learn newer skills and techniques within their instrumentation. You experience the impact of music education within the community, see the impact of a great director first hand, and be exposed to new concert music. Meanwhile, community bands provide a variety of socializing with new people, networking, and encourages self-care. Through the years, many close friendships have developed because of people coming together to play an instrument. We invite you to come join the fun by registering HERE
